Dobrudja (contemporary North-East Bulgaria) is the initial territory of First Bulgarian Kingdom (8th - 10th centuries). Here in the Early Medieval period the Bulgarians built unique fortresses. The biggest part of them is preserved nowadays. The tour includes as well a round trip through Bulgarian seacoast, visiting to many museums and to the earliest capitals of Bulgarian Kingdom. The tour is guided by professional archaeologist.

Arrival. Sofia panoramic round-trip. Accommodation at Princess Hotel (4 + star). Dinner in the hotel.

Round trip of Sofia. Visit to St. Sofia church, Rotunda St. George, Roman remains, National Museum of Archaeology. Lunch in "Pitsa Victoria". Departure to Botevgrad (58 km). Visit to BOJENESHKI URVICH FORTRESS. Departure to Lovech (101 km). Visit to LOVECH FORTRESS. Lunch and after lunch departure to Pleven (34 km). Visit to STORGOSIA FORTRESS and Archaeological Museum Pleven. Accommodation at "Orbita Palace" hotel (4 star) Pleven. Dinner in the hotel.

9.00 Departure from the hotel to PRESLAV (16 km). Visit to the Second Bulgarian capital. Lunch in Preslav and departure to PLISKA (First capital of Bulgairan Kingdom) (43 km).
